We are proud to share Isatu Barry’s inspiring story and moving TEDx Talk. Isatu was born and raised in Sierra Leone, West Africa and came to the US in 2013. As a 2015 SSLA alum, Isatu had a safe space to explore her values, develop her voice, and discuss issues of importance to her. She plans to major in International Relations and later work abroad; like her mentor and former PowerPlay coach, Sally Nnamani.
