All program activities are offered through a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant funded by the New York State Department of Education through the U.S. Department of education.
We operate this grant at 4 partner schools, which are: Grant Avenue Elementary School; Frederick Douglas Academy III; High School for Violin and Dance and Bronx International - all in the South Bronx. While the main focus of the programs is academic enrichment and remediation, other components focus on building social, physical, and emotional skills through activities such as wellness, fitness, literacy, arts, college and career readiness, community service, STEM, and professional development opportunities for staff and families.
The 21st Century program is implemented before the school day starts, during day school hours, after school, weekends, and during select holidays alongside our CBO partners: Breaking the Cycle, Platinum Edge Tutoring and Creative Connections.
