Volunteers are essential to PowerPlay. They introduce girls to new sports, serve as mentors and role models, foster academic growth and inspire confidence and empowerment. Volunteers create safe, inclusive spaces for social-emotional learning, skill development and self-worth, helping girls overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
PowerPlay advances the lives of girls through sports, helping them grow physically, emotionally and academically stronger.
A society in which all girls are empowered to achieve their dreams.

Elementary and middle school girls develop fundamental sports skills, teamwork, and confidence through activities such as fencing, golf, soccer, boxing, flag football, flag rugby, floor hockey, and more.
SSLA is a year-long leadership development initiative that prepares high school girls for college and the workforce, while engaging them in sports, mentoring, peer coaching, and college and career-readiness.
We partner with corporate teams to create engaging programs for our girls, including playing sports with employee volunteers, leading financial literacy lessons, fun activities, and meaningful friendships.
While the main focus is sports and academic enrichment, the program also builds youth’s social, physical, and emotional skills through activities such as wellness, fitness, literacy, the arts, STEM, college and career readiness, community service, and entrepreneurship.
PowerPlay’s volunteer roles can involve playing sports, hosting workshops, or tutoring a student. If you are interested in volunteering, please either click on the link or scan the QR code below.
