This year, in honor of International Day of the Girl, we hosted a baseball themed Girl Power Day in partnership with the High School for Violin & Dance and MLB PlayBall.
The girls had the opportunity to learn the basics of baseball, practicing drills and honing their skills before putting it all into action during a fast-paced game of quick ball. Many of the girls showed some pretty impressive skills that wowed the coaches! Their enthusiasm and teamwork were on full display, making it a day to remember.
Each participant left with wonderful memories and a special gift—a personal wiffle ball and bat, along with a commemorative shirt to celebrate their experience.
