On Tuesday, June 6, 2023 the girls at MS 226 participated in an empowering body positivity workshop led by influencer and motivator CeCe Olisa. We were excited to join in on the conversation about positive affirmations and self-love.Throughout the workshop, our girls had an amazing time diving into the power of speaking kindly to themselves and discovering ways to empower their own self-image. They were met with a welcoming environment that supported and celebrated each girl in their own unique way.
It was heartwarming to see the positive shift in mindset that occurred within our girls at the workshop. To commemorate the occasion, the girls co-created a tik-tok dance to Lizzo’s hit song “Special”. They were also treated to hand facials and were gifted a jar of Doll Butter from CeCe’s beauty line. We look forward to continuing the conversation about body positivity and self-love
