On Wednesday October 11, 2023, in honor of #International Day of the Girl, we joined forces with the New York Knicks and Grow Our Game to co-host a fantastic basketball clinic at one of our partner schools – PS 111. It was an inspiring day filled with laughter, basketball skills and drills and girl power energy. Our girls were ecstatic! The smiles on their faces were priceless.
We’re grateful partnerships like these that demonstrate the collective power of social and community impact using sports as a vehicle. Shout out to Chloe Pavlech for sharing her personal story with the girls and inspiring them to reach for the stars. Also a special shout out to our newest Board Member, Lawrence M. Miller Miller for this enthusiasm and willingness to jump into the drills and lend a hand – we appreciate you.
