SSLA hosted a transformative workshop led by Restorative Justice Practitioner Nicole Lavone-Smith, whose work focuses on racial and social justice. During the session, the girls engaged in Circle Time, discussing what makes them feel safe and how they can support one another throughout the program. This powerful exercise not only fostered deeper connections, but also empowered the girls to shape their own SSLA experience, setting the tone for a relationship of mutual support and inclusivity.
