The Superstars Leadership Academy girls made a powerful impact at the Pass Her the Torch clinic, hosted by NY Liberty and Gotham FC, with proud sponsorship from CarMax! This inspiring event brought together over 100 young girls eager to learn the fundamentals of basketball and soccer while celebrating female empowerment in sports. Our girls confidently shared their stories of growth and transformation at the SSLA info table.
SSLAers gave their younger peers and interested parents insight into the practical skills PowerPlay can instill. They talked passionately about how they feel equipped with skills in leadership, communication, and resilience—qualities that extend far beyond the court or field and into every aspect of their lives. We are so proud of our SSLAers for sharing their journeys with such authenticity and enthusiasm. They truly embodied the spirit of Pass Her the Torch, passing on their knowledge to inspire the next generation.
