Our SSLAers had an unforgettable and inspiring experience at the Jackie Robinson Museum as part of the Jackie Robinson Explorers program! The visit provided our girls with a deeper understanding of Jackie Robinson’s trailblazing achievements in baseball and his impact beyond the game. Through an interactive tour and an engaging scavenger hunt, they explored the many facets of his life, learning not only about his remarkable sports career, but also his legacy as a civil rights activist, businessman, and family man.
This visit showed our SSLAers how sports can shape a holistic, impactful life, extending far beyond the field and into meaningful contributions to society. The experience left them with a greater appreciation for how their own talents, in sports and other areas of life, can be used to make a difference in the world.
