Our girls had an unforgettable experience at Red Bull Arena with Gotham FC in New Jersey! The day started with an exciting fan festival, where they got to play mini soccer games, join group dance lessons, enjoy face painting, and design their own posters. The vibrant beats of FogoAzul – a Brazilian drumline, set the tone for the day as we made our way into the stadium.
A major highlight of the day was our exclusive meet and greet with Gotham FC’s star goalkeeper, Abby Smith. She signed posters and took the time to connect with our young soccer enthusiasts.
One of our lucky girls had the honor of lighting the torch to kick the game off. PowerPlay was recognized during halftime, with ten of our girls taking to the field to debut a video featuring Abby Smith, who is nominated for the prestigious Lauren Holiday Impact Award. We all cheered, as Gotham FC secured the win and a clinched playoff spot!
