This summer, our STARS Series students knocked it out of the park! They honed in on their baseball skills and showcased their talent in an unforgettable tournament. From learning the fundamentals of pitching, catching, and hitting to mastering team strategies, the girls spent weeks preparing and perfecting their game.
The players showed incredible teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication, playing their hearts out in every inning. Their efforts were rewarded with several girls winning medals for their outstanding performances and each participant also took home a variety of goodies.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Snug Harbor League for their generosity in donating their field, providing invaluable volunteer support, and keeping everyone cool with delicious ice cream on a warm summer day. We are also deeply grateful for the DYCD Neighborhood Youth Sports grant, which made this entire event possible and helped us bring the joy of sports to our community.
