Our Staten Island STARS Series participants and their families enjoyed an unforgettable visit to the Jackie Robinson Museum! The day was packed with excitement and learning as the kids explored the museum’s interactive exhibits and took part in a lively scavenger hunt. They delved into the inspiring story of Jackie Robinson and discovered the remarkable, often untold achievements of his legendary career.
To cap off the visit, we surprised everyone with special gift bags! These were thoughtfully packed with everything needed for a fun baseball experience at home, including matching adult and child baseball gloves, a bat, baseballs, T-shirts, hats, and water bottles. The smiles on the children’s’ faces as they opened their gift bags were truly priceless!
It was a day filled with inspiration, fun, and a shared love for America’s favorite pastime. A huge thank you to the Jackie Robinson Foundation for always creating meaningful learning experiences for our families!
