Ice Skating in…..March?!

Can you believe it?! You can really ice-skate in March. Unfortunately it’s not spring yet, but these PowerPlay-ers aren’t complaining. These STARS Series participants from PS 7 in Harlem ventured over to Riverbank State Park to meet their counterparts at Figure Skating in Harlem. It was a truly magical afternoon — friendships were forged, new experiences were had and critical knowledge (an engaging discussion on climate change) was passed around the room. It was a great way to build trust quickly in new surroundings. We know our girls will take these tools and use them as they grow into leaders within their communities.
