Role modeling in real time

It was so great to have another wonderful female role model (and a New York City Council Member at that!!) visit one of our after-school programs, Bronx River Cornerstone, yesterday! CM Annabel Palma knows what it takes to make a leader, as well as how challenging being one can be, and she joined our conversation on female leadership sharing her personal story of becoming a Council Member. We couldn’t be more proud to know she represents us and here’s to strong females everywhere!
