We are so honored to be named one of the 2015 Sports 4 Life grantees by the Women’s Sports Foundation and espnW. This initiative is part of a national effort to increase the participation and retention of African-American and Hispanic girls in youth sports programs. We were over the moon when WNBA legend Kym Hampton came out to our after-school programming in Washington Heights to present PowerPlay with a check, play a little one-on-one and show our girls that #PlayingChangesEverything.
