SSLA and the Spirit of Service

A few of our SSLA girls were bitten by the service bug. We caught these “infected” volunteers at the Public Allies Event Give Back Brooklyn. The event was held to provide various services throughout the entire borough of Brooklyn, and combined multiple agencies and talents.
Our girls choose to be apart in making the parks in Brooklyn beautiful. They painted, edged, and picked up trash and contributed to cultivating a welcoming enviroment for all in the park’s neighborhood
Look at those smiles, the service bug doesn’t seem to bother them in the slightest!
