It’s that time of year again! What time is that you ask? Time to kick off our STARS Series After-school programming, as well as add some more rock star staff members to the PowerPlay NYC team. This school year PowerPlay NYC will be hosting our STARS Series programming at 30 sites throughout the entire city. (Do you think the Big Apple is ready for all of this girl powered play??)
Along with the start of programming we have added some beyond impressive coaches to our team for the year. These women come from all sorts of backgrounds, from mechanical engineers, to child meditation specialists,(impressed yet?). However, the most mind-blowing feature of our 2014-2015 coaching team is their commitment to the empowerment of young girls through sports. These coaches are excited and beyond ready to take the plunge this year. I only hope the girls can keep up!
